Spring jacket help

I'm too hot in my winter coat that the kids call my 'duvet' but not really wanting to wear my raincoat instead so I'm looking for a jacket that will seemed through the spring.

I'm approaching 40, short in height and size 12. I'm drawn to patterns, especially geometric but I tend to settle for plain jewel type colours. Not sure what style to go for. Think I'd like something semi stylish and classic. Budget poss £100-£160 but could be swayed.

What are you all wearing? Please help.

No suggestions. I never get my 'spring coat' right. Alas.

How about a cropped raincoat ?

I really like that Baukjan jacket! Had something similar a few years ago in navy. Cropped could work too, quite like bomber jacket style but might be a bit round on me.
