What to wear to House of Commons Reception that's breastfeeding friendly?

Help! I'm taking my baby to a reception at HoC and have no idea what to wear!

It needs to be breastfeeding friendly. And I'm very conscious of my tummy as I still look 5 months pregnant. I've been wearing lots of needlecord shirts and tunics with skinny jeans. I work in the arts and work from home. All my usual favourites either don't fit anymore or I can't feed in them. I'm not a fan of pattern or bright colour. No set budget, but I'm on mat leave so the more affordable the better!

TIA

I'd look for a button-through or wrap front silk blouse on Vinted, something like this maybe? You could wear a bf vest underneath for a bit more coverage if you want, and team it with either a skirt or trousers that you already own and like.

Silk blouse

Brand new

oh I like that idea. I'm just not sure I have smart enough trousers that currently fit.

I'm thinking a dress or jumpsuit might work better. For reference, I'm a size 10-12.

Is this at the end of March? I might see you there 👀

I liked Serephine and could normally find bits second had but New Look and Next also do breastfeeding friendly dresses
