Malmasion rocking chair - I really
need one - though not the colour but can get it re upholstered

It says Malmaison in the OP.

@Alwayswonderedwhy , it says 'Malmaison rocking chair'. It could have been in a Malmaison hotel, or it might have been thee brand name like Ercol or similar. OP might have seen the photo online or she might be in the room.

Sorry - it was in a Malmasion hotel but it’s not my photo, I forgot to take one. So I found a photo online.

Phone the hotel and ask them who made the chair. If it is a company of note it might still have a manufacturer's logo underneath the seat.
