It’s a really lovely bag and I think it would suit every age! Have you tried it on yet to see how the straps fit? And what colour have you gone for?

Black with gold.
It has a long and short strap (both removable) which I love. The long strap is great cross body.
It is a lovely bag, the leather is gorgeous but I wonder if Coach is a 'young' brand and I'm just a tad too old?

OP I have this bag and I am older than you. My daughter has one as well. Her teenage daughter saw mine and asked for one for Christmas. It truly is ageless. There is a reason that it is one of Coach's most sought after styles. And it is beautifully made, rivaling some of the even more expensive brands.

Regarding the quality I couldn't agree more re rivalling more expensive brands.
I have bags that cost multiple times this one and the quality is possibly/probaby not as good on some of them (altho it pains me to admit it!).
I was just worried that it was a younger person's bag - but that settles it, I guess I'm going to keep it!!

It looks like a real "modern classic" style of bag to me - can't believe it would look out of place on any age.

I agree!
But it was something my daughter said that set me thinking...

Based on my (admittedly somewhat limited) knowledge of social media style influencers, it appears that a lot of younger women have discovered Coach of late. It's been around for a long time and is a classic American brand, but they have really upped their design game in recent years, and I think young folks have discovered it, when in the past, they might have overlooked it.

I love my Tabby 26; it also holds more than it would seem to at first glance. I also have a gold chain strap that I use on it sometimes. It's very versatile with the different strap options.

oh wow!
did you get the chain from coach (I love a chain bag (most of mine are)).
I had read that you could change the 'c' lock thing but not the chain - will have to investigate this!

Oh that is nice!
I'm in UK and had a look on their website but nothing like that (nor the buckles I was talking about) so figured it might be a US thing.
I have a friend in US, so I might ask her if she could buy and post.
Thank you so much!

I'm glad you decided to keep it, OP. It is so versatile. In fact, I have a family wedding next week, and this thread has made me realize that this bag is the only one I need for the whole weekend. Cross-body strap for casual; short strap for the rehearsal dinner, chain strap for the wedding.

I have a couple ofF coach bags, although not that one - they last forever! The quality really is great for the price. Keep an eye out for their sales - they are very good.
