About to start using Lumea - what do I need to know?!

After reading all the great reviews on here, I have finally bitten the bullet and bought a Lumea 9900 (using the Philips Try and Buy option).

I’m a bit nervous about using it so am looking for some top tips!

Does it hurt? Did you do a skin test before starting?

I was also wondering how you remember which areas you’ve already treated when you’re working your way around… And how do you treat areas like the back of your thighs when you can’t really see them?

Also got one recently and hoping for some advice! I've started on my arms as it's a low-risk area and not keen to shave and try it on my face until I know it really works. I have tried it twice on my arms so early days. The hair is growing back patchy - I'm not sure if it's my technique or if that's just how it is?

It doesn't hurt but it does have a burning smell which can be scary at first but totally normal. I'd recommend trying it on the lowest setting and do a test patch before trying on a more expansive area.
