Only Curls gel alternative?

I've used the only curls range and while it's good, it's expensive and I've found other products work just as well - apart from the gel!

Their gel is lovely and light, runny and doesn't cause too much of a cast which I prefer.

Has anyone got recommendations for a similar gel which is less spendy please? (I'd spend up to about a tenner, ish)

Umberto Giannini scrunching jelly. Used it this week for the first time and Im really impressed. Not keen on the smell but other than that it’s great. I got it on offer in Sainsburys for about a fiver but it’s usually about eight quid I think. I love the Only curls gel too…I usually use their mega hold gel. This is a great alternative though.

I also was going to suggest the scrunching jelly.

@roundcork do you mean the boots pink curl crème? I'm using that already, part of my cost cutting drive and using stuff that does the right job for a lower cost!

Umberto G Scrunching Gel.

This makes me want to try their gel. My curl pattern has changed in peri and I'm struggling to get a decent hold these days. It's not frizz but stringyness thats the issue. I've lost my fat ringlets.

But I do like Kevin Murphy Killer Curls. Be careful not to use too much. That's my fave at the moment.

or although it’s not actually a gel the Aussie curl cream is really good. I can use that on its own and it works really well. I have very curly type 3 curls.

Mine too!

I use Elvive Dream Lengths frizz killer serum. Dead cheap in Home Bargains and works a treat. I put it on dry hair a few days after I have blown it straight and it curls it right up!
