As a 20 something I used to regularly fry my hair using whatever the latest light blonde box dye was. You can imagine the condition.
Now, I'd be interested in trying again as a health issue would make the process quite uncomfortable with a hairdresser for now.
Are there any genuinely decent home dyes that might have come out over the past 10 or so years?
Also does anyone do their own balayage, are any kits good? I would actually prefer not to do all over dye that then has stark roots after a few weeks.
Hair naturally straight/ slight wave, longish, dark blonde with very grown out balayage.
