Sore skin, every time

Every time, no matter what method of hair removal I use, I end up with extremely sore skin for up to a week afterwards...
I've tried hair removal creams, they leave a rash even when left on for the shortest time, and don't take off the hair, waxing is expensive and time consuming to be done in a salon, cack handed doing it myself, plus scarring and bruising means I can't always get it done, and always sore skin for a good while afterwards. Epilating didn't really enthuse me, and I looked like I had hives for ages after. IPL won't work for me, my hair/skin combo doesn't suit, again with the scarring and bruising too. Shaving... Razor or electric doesn't matter, follow all the skin prep, always a fresh blade, always a foam/gel/oil, tried all the tips I've been told, tried many a razor variety... Always end up with shaving rash, and it lasts for days! And when the hair starts coming back through, it's sore! I think I need to just embrace the fuzz, and stay covered up, but any advice to try would be gratefully received.
