Liz Earle causing spots!

I recently did a big order of Liz Earle products, I’ve used the cleanser in the past with no problems

I’m currently using the regular toner and the brightening gel moisturiser - and I have developed a huge patch of spots around my chin, mostly on one side but now creeping over to the other. Some are whiteheads but they are mostly pink and not going away

I’ve tried to persevere incase it’s just a case of my skin getting used to the cream but think I will have to give up as the spots are not budging

Has anyone else has this with Liz Earle? I’m gutted!

The only time I’ve ever had this happen to me before was with Clinique many years ago

They changed their formula a couple of years ago. It's never been quite the same.

I now use the Aldi Hot Cloth cleanser and it's just like the old Liz Earle and about 13 quid cheaper.

I used to use the cleanser and the gel cream. I chucked both nearly unused when Estee Lauder changed it. It was great when Liz developed and owned it but its just another cheap-as-they-can-get-away-with mass market formula now for a premium price.

I switched to Pai Middlemist Seven and C2 Believe and I’m very happy, but no doubt if and when Sarah and Mr Brown sell up the same thing will happen to that.

Yes. Cleanse + Polish always gave me massive red shiny honking spots after a few days.

Same happened to me, I had the worst outbreak of under the skin painful spots I've ever had. I was genuinely gutted as I'd loved the clean and polish for a few days. Had to give it to my mum!

Same happened to me. Liz Earle was always my go to, then it got sold and all the formulations changed and not to the good. After watching a QVC presentation last year when they said they'd been listening to customer feedback and changed some formulations back to more like the originals I thought I'd get a travel pack to take on holiday. What a mistake! The cleanser brought up a crop of really painful hard red lumps which were so unsightly and which took an age to go away. The moisturiser was nothing special, and the only thing I did like was the toner.

I was on a cruise so luckily I was able to get some other bits to use instead but I have definitely learned my lesson. It's a shame because it was a great company originally.

I use Pai too, Middlemist Seven is amazing. Light Work oil is good for first cleanse if you wear make up.

I used the cleanser a few weeks ago, twice to remove make up, this was my skin on the 3rd day - Still hasn’t cleared up completely. I used to love the old formulation but I’ll never touch the stuff again
