Hello , ever since I've had my daughter my hairs been disgusting I thankfully still have lots of very thick coarse hair but it doesn't lay flat , and continues to get worse , hairdresser was puzzled and said it doesn't look in bad condition or thinning it just doesn't lay flat I do naturally have wavy hair but it's sticks up everywhere now my whole head of hair to my waist is flyaways I'm heartbroken cant wear it down anymore and can't bring myself to shave it , hairdresser said she would do a Brazilian blowout but Im too afraid to do anything that will make it worse , lost my hair at 21 so it's just devastating me , was told it was regrowth from COVID postpartum hairloss but that doesn't explain why it's from roots to tips did have a hairdresser brush it really aggressively but that was last year and it continues to get worse please help should I go for the blowout

Where are you based? I have a great hairdresser who knows her stuff. If you don’t have anyone like that then I would consult few hairdressers and see what they say.

I also have loads of new growth that isn't laying straight due to COVID re growth after losing a lot of hair.

Moo Goo protein shot has really helped and I use VO5 invisibility light hair oil before blow drying. I used to use L'Oréal extraordinary oil when it was thicker but it's a bit heavy for me now.

I wouldn't do anything chemical to it at the moment, just ride it out best you can.

Tha K you I still have loads of hair so I didn't even think I lost that much but I seen a trichologist who said it's Defo regrowth tbh I find this stage more difficult than the shedding because I can't even wear my hair down I look like medusa I also have natural frizzy coarse hair so it wasn't the most sleekest hair anyway
