Looking for fashion all white lightweight trainers ideally with a platform. To wear with dresses and wide leg trousers for work so can’t be too sporty (I’m debating while air force but not sure if “too young” as I’m in my 40s).
Similar in style to these: https://www.johnlewis.com/kin-eren-chunky-sole-flatform-trainers-white/p5115777. I have them and, god, they are heavy 😳 they give my blisters if I wear them for a length of time.
Oh, and I’m size 2.5 so either brand that is small fitting or have EU35.

I have these and have been wearing them for a couple of years and they still look good. Very comfortable and very adjustable with both zip and lace.

Highly recommend 😊

NB I definitely don’t have wide feet. I can accommodate my insoles if necessary by loosening the lace a bit.

Also a 2/2.5/3 here (I swear I used to be a solid 3.5 - reckon shoe sizes have also increased along with clothes). Russell and Bromley 3s are too big for me. I like Puma calis for a simple white flatform though and actually do take a 3.5 in these so you should be able to find a good fit. Comfortable too and not too heavy.

Thank you for ideas ladies. I will have a look and probably order quite few to choose from.

Btw, went to R&B yesterday and these just landed. So pretty but rather pricey for fashion trainers at £225!

Have you looked at children’s trainers? Will be a bigger selection in your size , pretty much the same range/styles but not sure whether they do platform kids ones?

Spudlover · 18/02/2024 16:43

I have these and love them, they’re my trainer staple. Leather and very comfortable once broken in!

I've just bought these Skechers from M and S

I have been looking at these recently, I know skechers are meant to be super comfy, how do you find these for walking in?

happyharpy78 · 19/02/2024 12:29

@YouG0GlenCoco you are absolutely right - super comfy, with the arch support too. Skechers and Fitflop are my go to for walking - my feet aren't great but these mean I can walk for miles without discomfort. These particular ones look pretty stylish too I think. And they make my big feet look smaller! There's a canvas version(Meet Ya There) and a leather type version (I'm on My Way) , both stocked by M and S. (shame about the dodgy names though! 🤣)

Rina66 · 19/02/2024 16:15

OMG @RandalsAunty I love those! How lovely for summer.

FlatWhiteExtraHot · 22/02/2024 11:46

If you’re buying Nike or Adidas get the kids ones. They’re identical and cost a lot less

RandalsAunty · 04/03/2024 16:21

Update - thanks for all replies.
I’ve bought Wyse flatworm trainers for a fraction of retail in tk maxx - very light and leather is so soft. And also ordered R&B ones for summer - I think they will be lovely with dresses and skirts.
