S&B related, sort of. Getting the musty smell out of a wooden wardrobe?

Wooden wardrobes been in storage, just brought them into bedroom and they have that musty smell inside.

Any ideas how to get rid?

Apparently charcoal gets the smell out. Obviously put it in a bowl or similar.

Just like, charcoal brickettes? The sort for BBQs?
