Sport Bra for running

So, I have started running again after having a baby and need to get fit again. I'm just wondering if anyone could suggest a good sports bra for support, especially for someone with a large bust, like a 36DD. Any suggestions on where to buy would be appreciated

I'm 'only' a d but like the contortionist bustier style ftom decathlon.
they cost about a tenner.

Marks and Spencers suit me, but you would have to try for yourself and see

Similar size to you op i am v happy with my shock absorber. Seems to have lasted an age as well

SquirrelsAssemble · 13/02/2024 15:09

I don't know if it's still the case, but I ordered loads from Boobydoo in different styles & sizes to try & it was free to return

I'm a 30F & I've always rated the shock absorber ultimate run bra, but also currently enjoying the much cheaper M&S ultimate support zip front one for weights. Both compression styles.

Look at Freya, available in Bravissimo. M and S are ok but are small made. Shock Absorber make is also good for larger boobs. Also dont buy M and S front zip ones, they can spontaneously unzip!

I second this, the two pack ones that can be crossed over at the back.

I'm a 36F/G and use Runderwear. I have all of the others and for short runs, M&S/Shock Absorber and many others are ok, for anything longer than a 5k, everything chafes. Except the Runderwear. I buy a smaller band size because I need to 'feel' they're contained.
They are about £70 each, but always on sale and on eBay and I've never paid more than half price for each of the 6 I have.

Elenor Cardwell (netballer) has reviewed a lot of sports bras on Insta (and maybe TikTok, not sure though). I watched them all!

I have a Panache (I think it is) which is ok, but have just invested in a PeBe. The PeBe feels so so secure! The first size I ordered isn’t quite right, but have an online fitting appointment with them this week to help decide what size to exchange for. They’ll exchange twice for no additional postage (and cover return postage for those two exchanges too). Really impressed with the service as well.

Edited to add that I normally wear a 32G

How did you buy this one please? I went straight to their website and found it really difficult to use. Lots of '404 page not found' and I'm only clicking on their links for individually named bras.
I've never heard of the brand and have at least one of almost every brand you can think of, delighted to hear of one that instantly feels supportive.

Elenor did great reviews - but if you are larger, they're not representative.

I bought from their website last week. They’ve also been selling at running show etc recently. This is the style for bigger sizes: https://www.pebeactive.com/products/impactsportsbra3-0

They have recently launched another style (Cloud I think it’s called) for smaller sizes. I haven’t seen many reviews of that just yet.

Thank you, I click the link and get '404 page not found'. Maybe it's my location they're blocking. I'll contact them directly.

I really appreciate the help and the 'heads up' about a decent running bra.

Elektra1 · 13/02/2024 16:10

I'm a 30F and am loyal to the Panache one. No contortions needed to get in and out of it!

FlibbedyFlobbedyFloo · 13/02/2024 16:11

I have several Anita sports bras. I am very happy with them
