How to remove stains on teeth.

I've got some really unsightly stains on my front teeth. My dentist doesn't seem to know how to remove them. I think the enamel may be damaged. I'm not bothered about having my teeth whitened, I just want the stains gone, any ideas?

Go to a different dentist!

I use bicarbonate of soda for stains on my teeth

I have had this issue twice. The first time the dentist removed them when I paid for a deep clean. The second time the hygienist was able to remove them.

The hygienist is incredibly expensive, so I'd have a scale and polish done by my dentist instead. As it's cheaper on the NHS. She'd been on Mat leave, but hopefully she'll be back by my next appointment. So I'll ask her!
