I've only just heard of these today when reading a Botox thread. Are they any good?

More snake oil

Why don't women understand the physiology of ageing?

I have a very expressive face and am 47 so starting to look older now. On one hand I'm happy to be alive after 2 major health scares but part of me is saddened by my scraggly neck (lost 2 stone) and permafrown. My skin is playing up at the moment which doesn't help.

I looked at these hopefully too but I can't see a difference between these and normal plasters.

I would be happy to be wrong as I would like to soften my 11s and I don't want to spend what botox costs.

Watching with interest. Permafrown is a new word to me, but describes me to a T ☹️

I'm surprised there isn't an emoji with one!

Have used them on and off for years. They are way more ridged than a plaster, like sticking stiff cardboard to your face. They do work, but not sure long term if they train your face muscles or it's just a temporary fix. But so far at 45 I've avoided Botox!

I've used them for a couple of years, pretty much every night. My 11's have definitely improved but I also got glasses so stopped squinting so much! If I don't wear them for a few nights they definitely come back with a vengeance!

I honestly think wrinkle prevention if there is such a thing(!) is a combination of things. Mostly (IMO) your genetics and your life style (loads of water, no smoking, sunscreen good diet etc). The stuff you then put on your face enhances this. I swear by the hydration, and I'm a huge fan of high quality bovine collegen. Frowniea then help smooth things out! I'm also adding high antioxidant olive oil to my diet at the moment and seeing if that makes any difference. Wink
