How old- feel a bit deflated !

I’ve always been a staunch avoider of all things cosmetic surgery, cant afford it/too scared but had a rare night out last night and an even rarer picture taken and all of a sudden , I thought jeez age is catching up on me. How old do you think I look ( it’s fine you can be honest) and any tips to sort my eye bag situation out as they actually look bigger than my eyes themselves ? I’m not sure my Olay eye cream is cutting it anymore.

You look great!

My suggestions would be to;

Botox / crows feet and maybe bunny lines under the eye

Botox lip flip to drop your top lip a little will be more youthful

Potentially some skinboosters & a retinoid

namestevalian · 11/02/2024 23:39

That's if you want to go down the route of being jazzy Uber maintained

I do Botox and lots of treatments but I've slowed down a bit as I can't really be bothered !

Sususudio · 11/02/2024 23:40

Lip flip? NO. You need nothing.

bakedpotatoforlunch · 11/02/2024 23:41

No way! Before you'd said 53 I'd have guessed 37-39. You look fantastic!

Babla · 11/02/2024 23:44

95

surprise4 · 11/02/2024 23:45

I was going to guess 50's.

I definitely wouldn't get any work done, you look great and in my opinion most people look worse once they've started tweaking their face.

@WillYouPutYourCoatOn spot on I’m just turned 53. Had a rough old few years ( divorce , relationship angst, few house moves and a busy job). I never had those crinkly bits at the sides of my eyes and bags. I rarely go out and as so very few pictures , I suppose in my head I’m still 25 , the reality is very different. My skincare is a bit basic, but maybe I need to start scaling up .

thanks for the comments , it is what is is isn’t it. 🫤

I'd put you ten years younger. Well done, stick with the Olay!!!

emptir · 11/02/2024 23:48

I was only a year out guessing 52!

For eye bags, as you asked, non surgical you could try a red light pen or mask.

seafoamgreenhair · 11/02/2024 23:08

I thought 45, but then I noticed the cleavage area and thought 54. You don't need anything 'done' - other than a better bra.

Fucking hell.

wellhello24 · 11/02/2024 23:51

early to mid forties I was going to say. You have fabulous skin

Appleblum · 11/02/2024 23:56

I was going to say mid 40s. You have very nice skin!

ApplesAndPearsTheFruits · 12/02/2024 00:01

I think you look really nice and pretty.

Would guess late 40s

UltraWoman · 12/02/2024 00:02

Everyone posting a specific number to guess your age should be forced to post a recent pic of themselves.

But that’s not gonna happen eh? Grin

you look great OP! (They most certainly do not!)

MixedPeel27 · 12/02/2024 00:03

I was going to guess around 45, I think you look great.

I don’t get this – isn’t it what the OP has requested?

Notherefortheclout · 12/02/2024 00:14

For 53 it's all about the neck and chest area that's the give away and yours looks 23

seafoamgreenhair · 12/02/2024 00:19

wellhello24 · 11/02/2024 23:50

Fucking hell.

And? A decent bra is a much cheaper, safer, nicer investment than getting whatever procedures the OP is imagining she needs. A hollow cleavage is aging.

edit to add: You may have missed, OP had already posted she was 53.

I've had a hollow cleavage since forever...

It's the consequence of not having much in the way of tits.

I'm not sure how it's aging though? Would hoiking non-existent bussoms up be more youthful?

Anyhoo!

OP you look great. You're a year older than me and probably look younger, but I go around thinking I'm bloody brilliant and beautiful.

Because I am.

And so are you.

And I'm not doing silly bloody affirmations.

Honestly, I understand that the mirror us and the photo us do not always gel, but you must know you're an attractive woman.

You say you're worried about aging, c'mon now. You live in the world. You must look around you and think, 'I look ok, in fact I look bloody good and I'm very pleased to be me'. I understand life turbulence can sometimes knock you a little, but...

I don't believe you posted that picture because you think you look shit. I think you posted it because you think you look good. Which you do.

And there's fuck-all wrong with that.

I wasn't posting advice for you. OP has a nice bust. She asked for advice.

I fail to see how suggesting a better bra is somehow more offensive than this sort of thing:

"Botox / crows feet and maybe bunny lines under the eye

Botox lip flip to drop your top lip a little will be more youthful."

namestevalian · 12/02/2024 01:05

It's not offensive to suggest treatments, as requested .

I didn't say she needed to have them - it's a choice if someone is feeling a bit insecure about something for whatever reason .

Again as I said , I've done them ! I'm waning a bit from it now as frankly couldn't care as much - probably will do Botox again less frequently but if they help someone feel good why not

SPF & prescription tret & sunscreen help everyone generally !

Josette77 · 12/02/2024 01:08

This is the first time I've seen someone look younger on here. I am 46 and thought you were about the same.

You are very pretty OP. I wouldn't change a thing.

Mostlyoblivious · 12/02/2024 01:26

Your skin is amazing! What do you use? You absolutely don’t look your age!

Genuinelyenquiring · 12/02/2024 01:30

@MancMa bloody hell you look INCREDIBLE for 53. How is your neck and decolletage so youthful?!

Whatoflife · 12/02/2024 01:35

Why do we have ‘age related’ and ‘problem’ in the same sentence?
