Fifty and fabulous

I'm fifty this year and have decided to embrace it.
I am having a party for 50 people- sit down meal.
I want to look and feel glamorous.
I am after a dress and don't mind throwing money at the problem (up to £800).
I am tall and dark. Size 16.
Arms must be covered, V neck suits me well as do butterfly/flutter sleeves.
I think something which isn't a print or busy probably suits my style best. Probably below knee or long.
Any suggestions? Thank you!

Have you looked at 16 Arlington? Available on net a porter and Matches? Something like this? (Sorry - not sure how to do web links…)

Try coast - I've bought a lot of dresses from them over the years and just most recently bought a swan sleeve dress for a wedding from there. Good sizing.

@GlitteringUnicorn I'm pretty sure those DVF sizes are US sizes. The US14 may fit a UK 18.

Wow - I do quite like the print, but £500 for an unlined polyester dress at DVF!
