Dyson Airwrap

I have long hair which I have to style every day so as not to look like one of the Wild Women of Wonga. I have all the tools: GHD straighteners, Cloud Nine curling rods, Kitsch heatless curling tool, but it never looks as good as when the hairdresser does it.

So I’m thinking investing in a Dyson Airwrap. Does anyone here have one? Are they any good? Thanks.

I love mine, it’s a complete game changer. I have long hair (past my bra strap length) and for the first time in my life I can do a bouncy blow dry that actually looks decent for 2/3 days. I’d highly recommend it.

Sorry, I should also have said if I use the curling attachments the curls stay in for a few days too and I’ve found I don’t need to wash my hair as much as it’s easy to do a quick refresh instead of a full wash and blow dry.

I have a Dyson Airwrap, complete game changer and well worth buying.

I have long hair and love mine I used to dry my hair and then curl it with my tongs. I now only have to dry it with the Dyson. My only warning is it’s a hair dryer not a curling tong so the heat isn’t as strong. If your blow drys last then the Dyson curls should too. I have thick long hair and will often sleep with the curls pinned. This then makes them stay for days and sometimes turn out to curly.

I Jj ace just sitting on shoulder length hair and love it when I have time to use it but honestly I tend to just blow dry and leave the house. It's a real effort/sit down and properly style it and not worth the money I felt tbh. But I always just let my hair dry natural before I got one so might not be the best before and after air wrap reviewer!

Got mine from Dyson refurbished on eBay. Haven't made up my mind about it.

Same.

However 3 x DDs love it, rave about it and use it whenever they are here.

I think perhaps for me, my hair needs to be signed into oblivion to hold a curl

randomusernam · 10/02/2024 22:45

Doesn't work on all hair. Won't hold a curl on mine no matter what I try. I've used all the tricks people recommend and still won't hold a curl. I think it really depends on your hair type

Girlintheframe · 11/02/2024 00:12

I tried it and wanted to love it but my hair just won't hold the curl. It's curls fine with straighteners but not with the air wrap.

samestyle · 11/02/2024 00:23

I sold it after a few months, I didn't like the ringlet type curls, the smoothing bush attachment was good but not for the price.

Nonewclothes2024 · 11/02/2024 07:54

I LOVE mine.

I couldn't be without my Airwrap! I've had it over 3 years, my hair has been long or short and I've used it daily. I love having the choice to go curly, straight or bouncy. The better the condition of your hair, the better the style will hold. I've been silicone free for years and just use a little heat protection and my curls don't budge.

I was converted when my hairdresser started using one on my shoulder length wiry bob. My hair has never looked better. I bought my own soon afterwards plus a third party diffuser attachment from Amazon.

Did you buy the airwrap in the end? What do you think?
