Help me revamp casual style

I'm mid thirties and New mum, recently thrown out clothes from 20s as not really my style anymore and also a bit small.

Looking for a few nice new casual items for wardrobe and to find a bit of a low maintenance look for casual day wear. Looks that you can potter round the house in and then go out for the day in too.

I like Athleisure brands for bottoms and own a few leggings and jeggings from Halara / ninepine, uniqlo but I have more trouble finding tops as lots of the athleisure tops are for yoga/ workouts but I'm looking to dress it up just a bit more.

I have a few tops from Joules and like that sort of style but would like something without stripes. Also like shirts/ shackets, half zip tops that aren't too sporty etc

Any tips are welcome as so hard to find right look at the mo and can't spend too long on anything

I'm a size 10 and 5ft 4

I’m in a similar situation… mid 30s and heading back to work soon after my second maternity leave. I’m thinking of booking a free John Lewis stylist appointment to see if they can help, mainly with workwear as that’s more urgent. Can I ask what NinePine are like? I’ve been looking at their straight legged trousers - would I get away with them for the office?

Yes I think if your office is standard smart casual then the black straight trousers are fairly good option and very comfy too. You can dress thtm up or down. I'd thought about some sort of stylist appointment myself but guessing it's for more smarter attire rather than casual

Fab thanks I’ll try them. And no you can definitely get a stylist to help with everyday style, they do that all the time
