I started a Dermatica cream a month ago, with 0.015 Tret (plus azelaic acid and niacinamide) I wasn’t bothered about pigmentation or age spots then but looking back at my photos I definitely had some small ones. Over last two weeks I’ve actually developed quite a lot more, some very noticeable ones!
Is this a thing? Will they fade if I carry on using the Tret? My skin did get a bit red and blotchy at one point and flaky but this settled down. I have been using a good factor 50 and hardly outside! I contacted Dermatica but I feel like I just had a standard response. At the moment my before looks significantly better than my after, which I know is to be expected in some ways but I was not expecting all these new brown blotches! I’m due to go up to the next level (0.025) soon.
