Please help me with trousers!

I've recently become a stay at home mum. Most of my wardrobe is either work wear (I used to dress pretty formally) or nice jeans/skirts for weekends.

I need to get perhaps three pairs of something comfortable but vaguely stylish and that can withstand the washing that is necessitated by looking after small children and dog walking!

I'm 36, a size 10. Usually I'd go high waisted skinny jeans or cords or flares. I can't pull off anything jogger bottom like, I just look silly.

Anything that won't break the bank would be great.

Please hit me with anything u would wear!

M &S jeans. Enough elastic that I can run after my toddler but smart enough. They can take a battering.

How do they wash? I'm finding I'm needing a whole outfit wash most days!!

I wear yoga style trousers from h&m or else m&s for the school run. They are comfy and stylish and makes a big change from my previous leggings look for everything.
