Hyuralonic acid

My fine and not so fine lines need some attention. Is hyualonic acid likely to help? It seems to be advertised all the time but does it really do any good?

Hyaluronic acid is wonderful but it's for moisture. You want to look into retinols for fine lines.

It will hydrate skin so give a temporary plumping effect. It's probably already in any moisturizer and serum you use.

Some hyaluronic is better than others. Hada Labo is good.

A vitamin C and a vitamin A (retinol, Tretinoin) will do more.

This ^^..

Retinol works wonders- use at night- you need to build up slowly- look into strengths. i started about 0.3% once a week and now use 1% nightly. I then use factor 50+ Suntan lotion with hyaluronic acid in the day (as well as serum and moisturising cream). It gives my skin a slightly "wet"/ shiny look, but wrinkles and age spots have gone.

Inky List is a good affordable brand

BryceQ is right. Just leave retinol for 10ish minutes before night cream. I actually use no7 1% retinol. I haven't tried many brands, but it's worked for me. At the moment I use with other products from the no7 "future renew" range. It's fairly pricey, but it's worked so I'm too scared to change. I tried some cheap brand of retinol and it did nothing so I've stuck with No7.

Look up a bit about retinol. You do often get purging. It helps with blackheads too, but sometimes you break out and feel drier while your skins adjusts. Within 6 weeks I got people commenting. I didn't use in pregnancy as vitamin A is toxic (that's why you shouldnt have liver/pate in pregnancy). I aged about 10 years, but restarted after and skin improved again.

No 7 sounds good. Will definitely give it a try-thank you
