I'd be worried about chafing. Tights material isn't great on bare (delicate) skin.

A lot of tights have a cotton gusset anyway.....

For me tho, I change panties daily, but tights not always every day.....

No, but I see it looks like that.

Never knickers with tights But l always wear tights with a cotton gusset, not the supermarket cheapies. Only exception, the first day or so of a heavy period.

I wear Autograph seamless (no centre seam) 40 denier opaques, or the Autograph sheer tights. Both have a “practical sized” cotton gusset and stop in place far better without knickers. The top adheres to the body. Double layers cause slippage.

I'm not sure how hygienic that is. Even if you're not a very sweaty person, something that close to your skin will be absorbing sweat, oil, dead skin cells and of course any bacteria etc. Especially given that tights are close to your vulva, bum and feet! I would worry that you could get fungal infections, thrush etc from regularly reusing tights. But maybe I'm over thinking it.

Fungal infections after 1 day! I'm not particularly sweaty or smelly. And luckily not very infection-y, so it's never been an issue.

I can see this working if the tights are good and sturdy. And washed daily.

Of course, you could go the other way and be like my mum, who wears a pair of knickers under her tights, and a second pair over. To be honest, the very thought brings me out in a hot flush.

Good quality tights with a cotton gusset are essential to go sans knix. It is far more comfy too, as l said upthread, they don’t slip down. I certainly would not wear them more than once without washing.

l couldn’t do what you mum does, what if you go for a wee and you forget you have a second pair on? 😳
