Vestiaire Collection can anyone answer?

Hi I'm about to purchase a bag from vestiaire collection. It is a lot of money so I'm a bit apprehensive.
Is there any way to read seller reviews? I can see the seller has sold 42 items in the last few years. I plan to pay extra for authentication but does that guarantee anything? If I buy the bag and I get it authenticated and it turns out to be a fake do I have any comeback? Also the bag is listed as very good condition but what if it is delivered and not as described? Thank you

I think you can return items if the seller is a professional seller, otherwise it is no returns. Sorry, can’t answer the other question,but i do know they have had authentication issues in the past.

@WowIlikereallyhateyou thanks you, that's what makes me nervous is the things I read online about the authenticity. I've bought bags before from stores which specialise in buying and selling bags but they allow returns back within a time frame if you're not happy. They don't have the bag I'm looking for at the moment though

If I were you I would be tempted to wait until the place you trust has the bag you want. I have only sold stuff on VC, but i am aware some of the sellers are not great.

VC doesn't have user reviews, but if they're marked as a preferred seller or expert seller it gives some induction of trustworthiness. Although that designation is more about how frequently you sell, how quick you ship but consistently passing authenticity checks also factors into it. I think if you fail the latter the badge is removed but I'm not entirely sure on that. Someone with a lot of recent sales without a badge would be one I'd be cautious about. I think, generally, VC authenticity control is reliable but I'd be cautious about very sought after styles and brands where there are a lot of known fakes, but I wouldn't buy those preloved anywhere, personally.

Wrt condition, this is part of the VC check, if it's not in the described condition they'll give you an option to negotiate down price or refuse it.
