Do you know a lot about eyelash extensions?

I got eyelash extensions about 6 years ago. I can't remember where, but they looked very natural. Even my mum asked if I'd "done something" because they looked lovely but weren't obviously fake. It didn't look as though I was wearing mascara. They were soft, like real eyelashes without mascara. They lasted a while and then came off and that was that.

Now I've had them again. I wasn't sure what to get so I got what the salon called a 'classic' set. They look fine, but obviously fake. They are too long to possibly be real, and it looks like I'm wearing lashings of mascara. It honestly looks okay, very glam, but it's not really what I was going for.

If I want to get natural-looking fake eyelashes, what do I need to ask for? The girl who did these ones doesn't speak English, so I can't have a chat about what I want. I'm happy to go back to her if I know what to ask for, or I'll go somewhere new if necessary.

And also, I'm very fair and usually dye my eyelashes every 2 weeks. Can I continue to get my real eyelashes dyed under my fake ones?

I just say I want a natural look with classic lashes. Specify that you want her to use different lengths throughout so it doesn’t look too uniform and you want a realistic length. it might even be better not to get a full set, ask if they can do 3/4 instead. You will have to get your infill earlier, but it will look natural. If she doesn’t speak English, use, Google translate.

I’m not sure about dye.

I wonder if you got a half set of classic? That would look more natural

Classics are 1 per lash which are natural unless you got longer ones. I think the shortest are 12mm so it sounds like you got the longer ones, even at 13mm they will look really long
