iPhone case - designer preowned or what’s stylish?

What phone cases do people use?

I fancy a really nice phone case, I used to have Mulberry/Louis Vuitton ones but haven’t had a fancy one for a few years.
However the prices!!

What are people using for stylish phone cases these days?
My phone, it’s an old phone, an iPhone 12 Pro Max so I wondered if I could get a preowned one.
Any thoughts, anyone love their phone case or got a bargain preowned one or ideas where to get such things??

I just have a clear one to be honest

heyhohello · 03/02/2024 23:43

Erm...none. And my phone's an old Nokia. I'm as stylish as you can get though! 😁

But my advice is just to get what you like. Style is individual. Otherwise what's the point?

Roadtripwithkids999 · 03/02/2024 23:46

@heyhohello that's vintage. Therefore you are in style

heyhohello · 03/02/2024 23:48

😂

Mirrormeback · 03/02/2024 23:48

I buy bright coloured cases so I can find my phone. I don't care what anyone thinks I need to see it across a room

Schoolsocks · 03/02/2024 23:54

Awh I know I know - it’s still a great phone.

But when I looked on line there’s hardly any choice for my phone as there’s been so many iPhones since.

I’m not going to be changing it any year soon so I don’t mind putting a bit of cash on it - don’t want this to turn into a bag thread though - it’s just ideas for what’s nice and ideas for where to look.

I like Kate spade ones.

heyhohello · 03/02/2024 23:55

If I was going for it I might have a collection to go with different outfits.

heyhohello · 03/02/2024 23:56

What clothes do you like Op? What is your general look.

Talipesmum · 03/02/2024 23:58

I don’t imagine this lines up with mulberry phone cases etc (I’m assuming you mean leather?) but I got a Stringberry case for my phone a year and a half ago and it’s lasted so much better than any phone case I’ve ever had. It still looks pristine. Lots of v nice designs. https://stringberry.com/

Thank you so much, they are definitely worth looking into.
I’m a fan of accessories, designer bags and such but casual supermarket/high street clothes.
I got this phone years ago but thought I’d wait to get a ‘nice 🙄’ one and just never bothered to get round to it.

The one I have is so shabby and I’m out of touch with accessories these days - hoping for a few suggestions

Burga do beautiful cases

BarbieDangerous · 04/02/2024 04:04

What iPhone do you have?

erinaceus · 04/02/2024 05:02

I get personalised ones from Not on The High Street or ETSY. The ones I have, have been good quality and I like the personalisation.

StarlightLady · 04/02/2024 05:45

As old and tatty as possible. One that does not shout “nick me”.

TheDandyLion · 04/02/2024 08:59

Otterbox because they are indestructible and will actually protect the phone from breaking. Not in the least bit stylish tho.

housefacelift24 · 04/02/2024 09:35

Phone case stylish?!

notlucreziaborgia · 04/02/2024 10:16

I have an Aspinal of London one I’m using at the moment (not the pouch). You have the option of personalisation too:
https://www.aspinaloflondon.com/womens-collection/ipad-and-iphone-cases

I’ve also had custom ones made from Etsy and RedBubble, so maybe worth looking at both of those if you want some exactly to your own specifications design wise.

If you don’t want to spend on Mulberry but want Mulberry then definitely look at Vinted.

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 04/02/2024 10:17

I always use Otterbox because they provide really good drop protection. But then, I am a lot more about function than fashion.

Thank you so much for your suggestions. The lovely Aspinal ones don’t do iPhone 12 Pro Max 🤷‍♀️
never thought of Vinted!!!

Same. I’m a serial phone dropper.

I got one from CaseFace a few months ago and it’s held up way better than I expected — no peeling or fading, and it actually feels sturdy without being bulky. They’ve got really clean, fun styles too, not tacky or in-your-face, which I struggled to find elsewhere.
