It looks a bit too...sexy? Don't know, not a fan really because it's giving 'night dress' to me to be honest.

Ladybrrrd · 03/02/2024 16:49

Maybe with a big pashmina? I think anything fluffy with it would be way too much.

leafingaround · 03/02/2024 16:49

It does sort of say I am a nightdress to me, sorry, I think it is the satin.

KrazyboutKillian · 03/02/2024 16:50

Yes I did think it had a lingerie vibe 🙈

That’s a nightie.

Plus satin bias cut, very few people can get away with looking good in that. Every single bump and lump will jump. You could even be very slim and it still be an issue.

LittleBitoftheBubbly · 03/02/2024 16:54

What height are you?

Second reminds me of my Granny’s sofa in 1975, and has so much material it would swamp many people.

KrazyboutKillian · 03/02/2024 16:58

Too Wednesday Adams ?

I like the navy one best

Globetrote · 03/02/2024 17:02

The navy one! The pink is like a nightie.

SausageRoll2020 · 03/02/2024 17:03

The first one is a nightie.

The floral one is very suitable providing it suits you, it'll either look incredible or awful, trying it on is the only way to find out.

The navy one is technically suitable but feels a bit dark for a spring wedding.

The 3 of them couldn't be more different, what's your usual style? It's important to feel comfortable as well as dressing appropriately.

Agreed

Chickenwing2 · 03/02/2024 17:15

I really like the floral one!

KrazyboutKillian · 03/02/2024 17:18

i wear jeans day to day , velvet jeans to go out
blonde blue eyes , size 16 , booby ,
it’s a posh wedding in a country house / building
help !
I really wanted something I could wear again , but then possibly the dress wouldn’t be dressy enough ?

Given your figure the pink will not flatter you, only very skinny tall ppl seem to pull those off. The other two are lovely.

Ametora · 03/02/2024 18:41

Floral 1 is night at the pub and kebab on the way home- not wedding

KrazyboutKillian · 03/02/2024 18:54

@Ametora
really ?
I wouldn’t wear a midaxi chiffon dress to the pub but you do you

I agree with @SausageRoll2020 too.

The first one, definitely not - it looks like a nightie.

The 2nd and 3rd are both dresses some could get away with. The floral in theory is very wedding appropriate, but not a style everyone looks good in.
The third is quite dark and potentially heavy, which can look gloomy or can look elegant. You'd have to try them on and see for yourself.

RuthW · 03/02/2024 23:27

Looks like a nighty

Onelifeonly · 03/02/2024 23:37

I think I'd keep looking. Definitely not the pink. The floral one is nice but the sleeves swamp it. I like the blue but reminds me of a (black) dress I bought for a funeral. Unless it can be worn with a lighter jacket or something, it seems too sombre.

Backinthedress · 03/02/2024 23:41

I reckon this would look nice on you. Pretty Kitty make really nice dresses, very wearable. I bought one in a floral pattern for a summer party and I have worn it over and over. Super comfy and flattering and very versatile. Even if this one isn't quite right I recommend looking through some of their dresses

For wearing again the Nobody's Child wins hands down. I'd wear it as a standard summer dress. Second is the Monsoon one.

Of the 3 I like the navy best as a dressed up dress; the Nobody's Childone is a very wearable summer dress. I don't like.the third one at all.
