Day disco attire?

What do I wear though? Size 12/14. All the weight on my tummy. 5'3".

Shopping for an outfit this weekend and I'd welcome any pointers!

Where are you shopping, what's your budget, what sort of things do you like and not like to wear?

New look is my favourite place where things are cut well to my body shape. Budget I could go up to £100 all in.

I like wearing all sorts. I have jumpsuits, jeans, dresses, skirts, tops.

I don't like low cut tops or high cut skirts. I don't like the tops of my arms on show. I like heels.

Jumpsuit- can be comfy with trainers but still feels like you’ve made an effort. New look usually do petite ones. Easy to dress up with accessories, hair, make up etc

I’m going to this too! Looking forward to it. Not sure what I’m going to wear yet, so watching with interest. There have been a couple of these day discos elsewhere in the country, I wonder what people wore to those? Anyone been to one yet?

Called all dayers way back as opposed to all niters. 😁

I've searched the website for pics and ideas and can't work it out. Is the music actually all disco? Is it outside or inside a club with strobes etc? If the latter, I'd wear glittery disco wear- a jumpsuit I could dance and move around in or a top with 3/4 sleeves to cover the upper arms and stretchy trousers.

Not sure if its indoors or outdoors but a nice black dress with some sparkly accessories (maybe a sparkly bum bag) with boots and a leather jacket would be my go to

So today I bought a light material shirt dress with a tight belt and pockets. Going to team it with chunky jewellery, a silver clutch bag and black ankle boots.

I'm going too . Super excited but struggling to think what to wear . Definitely comfy shoes / trainers . I can't work out from photos either what the vibe is .

Your outfit sounds great @superproud - I’m still thinking about mine. I’m not buying anything new as I already have several going out options which hardly see the light of day!

I bought a Lipsy halter neck dress last year which might work and my other half would really like to see me in it. (Never worn, but bought after seeing it as a suggestion here on S&B.) However, as I’m coming in by train/tube I think it might be a wee bit chilly while travelling, even with a coat on! It would also need to be paired with heels for full effect, so I’m leaning towards tight trousers, shoes I can dance in (maybe ballet flats) and one of several sparkly tops. Decisions, decisions!

It’s indoors for those who are asking. (It had bloody better be in February!)

We had so much fun. The tunes were spot on. We're going to the next one in May.

And I'm wearing flats! I think I was the only one there in heels!!!

@Superproud Yes, it was fab! Will defo go again, but not to the May one as I’m busy that weekend. I was amazed that 99% of the women were wearing flat shoes/boots/trainers - including me! I literally only saw a couple of people in heels!
