Maternity Shopping in Central London

We live in what is best described as a backwater, with a tiny branch of Jojo Maman Bebe featuring one entire rail of Maternity wear as literally our only offline option for clothes.

I've got the chance of a days shopping in London coming up, I don't need much as I've already picked up some bits from charity shops but it would be nice to grab a pair of jeans that fit well, and maybe a top or a dress that I actually like rather than have bought out of necessity. I could also do with some gym leggings.

Any suggestions? I asked H&M on Twitter and their only London branches that stock the Mama range are Harrow and Wandsworth, which are out of our way but I could venture to I suppose.

Thanks in advance

I believe Seraphine have a London store their clothes are lovely but pricey. However mine lasted 2 pregnancies and 2 lots of nursing so good quality

Not sure if it's changed but when I was pregnant about 8 years ago, all the central London stores got rid of their maternity sections and made them exclusively available online due to low demand in stores. Prior to that, Gap and H&M used to be great for picking up maternity wear. Don't think I've seen maternity sections on the high street since then.

Hmm, I was afraid of that. Our backwater is so remote (think Highlands and Islands) that only a select few brands actually deliver to us.

I'll see what I can find anyway. Presumably Primark will have some bits in store since they don't really sell online.

H&M in Westfield Stratford definitely used to stock their maternity range - it’s a massive store - can you double check? I really rate their maternity clothes.

And Seraphine as pp says, though can try on in store to get an idea of size and then buy on eBay/vinted.

We're going to Westfield Stratford tomorrow, so I'll report back!

Seraphine is lovely

Try New Look and Next. They always do a decent range.

Can confirm that there's a Maternity section in H&M at Stratford Westfield! Got some nice bits in the sale Smile

Excellent! Glad you got sorted OP!

They might sell a bit more if the fitting cubicles weren't infinity mirror rooms lit with 1000 watt bulbs. Just the way I wanted to view my expanding pregnancy body and mottled winter skin, into infinity and under stark white light BlushConfused
