whoop whoop for buying it and I think your suggestion of a white blazer actually sounds perfect and suits the style and not the typical bridal (dated) shrug.

I think it is beautiful. Given you are petite is it worth considering having it professionally altered so that the length is right for you and the waist sits in the right place? I like the idea of soft metallic coloured shoes.

Brides get married in strapless dresses in church every single Saturday of the year. Unless you are marrying the heir to the throne, nobody of any age cares if they can see your shoulders.

OP, it’s a lovely dress and it doesn’t need a bolero, a shrug, lace, a beaded cape or anything else. It also doesn’t need that most cringy of all fashion terms, ‘a pop of colour’ 🙄 Simplicity is key with a dress like this. A white blazer would be gorgeous if you want to avoid being cold.

It's lovely. I think simple maybe gold or sivery sandals would be nice. I dont think I'd want to detract from the clean lines with a lot of accessories. Maybe some earrings.
