Cruelty free makeup ideas

I'm 40 soon, and I want to treat myself to some new make up.
It needs to be cruelty free.

I currently use elf products.

Thank you, I've heard about Lisa Eldridge as I've recently been watching her application tutorials. Not only do I know nothing about makeup, I'm not great at applying it either
