What are we all absolutely loving right now? That you definitely know you’ll be repurchasing again… I was gifted some Elemis skincare which my skin adores! I think i’ve found my new skincare bits and bobs FINALLY!

You need a hot airbrush, I've got the babyliss one and it's great.

ooooo! What made you choose the babyliss? There’s too many out there and you know in the reviews there’s always that one rubbish review that sticks and i end up thinking forget it 😣

My DD was gifted one and loves it, had done my hair with it and it's easy to use, smooths my curly frizz and gives you a blow dry look. I've the one with various attachments.

My Loreal Steampod. I honestly thought there would be no way it would be better than my multiple ghds but I never use them now, as it's so much better at keeping it straight and also gives it an almost shiny look.

Back21970 · 28/01/2024 21:59

I have a Steampod still in the box from last Christmas!

Bought it after reading reviews on here but for some reason I’m worried it’s a faff to use with the water for the steam.

Please tell me it’s not to encourage me to give it a go 😀

Skincare wise I always repurchase Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant since trying a sample a few years back, don’t think I would want to live without it now.

Ladybaga · 28/01/2024 22:03

I just bought a big bottle of deionised water from the supermarket and fill the little bottle up that it comes with, to
then fill up the steampod. It's not too faffy, honest! Its worth it imo tbh as I find it so much kinder to my hair than my ghds and the straightness holds for longer.

Superdrug Me+ salicylic acid serum, the only thing to ever help my oily skin.

bastedyoungturkey · 28/01/2024 22:16

Elemis cleansing balm. I treated myself to some a while back and I just love it so much. It's a little luxury at the end of every monotonous day!

These remind me of the babyliss ones from back in the day! What’s your hair type? I came across them in a mag a while back and they were Barbie pink.. and at that point they were sold out.

My DR pen A6 micro-needling device

A313 retinol cream

Micellar water

Red light therapy device

Aveeno baby dermexa balm

Staywildmoomchild · 28/01/2024 22:36

Do love a scrub, it doesn’t feel like there’s residue left behind after rinsing?

Absolutely the Elemis cleansing balm. It’s fab. I also like Pro-collagen SPF 30.
Clarins Double Serum too. I need an amazing eye cream though, any suggestions for a magic one? Needs to sort dark circles and puffy eyes!

oOoooOooO this has my attention!! The red therapy device.. is this for facial use? I know you can get such things to stimulate hair growth etc. I use the Aveeno baby balm.. has been a saviour during these cold months. Would love the whole micro-needling devices but much prefer to have them done at the salon as i buy too much and then it lays around before i give it away … having been a big impulse buyer previously 🫣😂

Elemis i feel will be my new skincare, noticed a difference my skin looks fresher. You tried any of the dynamic resurfacing range? Oh i have 2 little eye creams both from Elemis one being a mask and the other just a vitality eye cream which i feel has helped with my dark circles … give the ice globes a try for around your eyes.. the lengths we go to - to look well rested!

I love the soap and glory vitamin c face wash, il makiage foundation, primer and eye liner. Also love the clinique dramatically different moisturiser. For my hair I Iove the babyliss big hair and my original GHD straightener. And for my lips I love the clinique chubby sticks and color pop range.

bastedyoungturkey · 28/01/2024 22:54

I've got the original one and the limited edition fig one.

BlueGrey1 · 28/01/2024 23:00

Yes, I use the red light therapy for my face, I think it’s good for evening skin tone and giving a fresher appearance, the one I use is in the link below, I have it a good few years, its an attachment head for the Nuface micro current device, I don’t think the micro current device was good but I like this

Another makeup staple of mine is the Kiko long lasting eyeshadow sticks, very good and so quick to use

I love my steampod. Less breakage and easy to use. My kinky hair stays straighter for longer and is much healthier. I was a convert for year. Did try cloud 9 a year or so ago, but back to steampud

Crankyaboutfood · 28/01/2024 23:07

elemis is not cruelty free.
