I have been using the Maybelline superstay skin tint & it is great, dewy, good coverage but not cakey, I have dry skin & it works so well oh & I'm 41

I like the Lisa Eldridge one which is buildable

OneMoreTime23 · 27/01/2024 10:31

Clinique Even Better or IT Cosmetics CC cream.

Estée Lauder Futurist Aqua Brilliance (the big square bottle, not the serum one in a tube). Good coverage and makes my skin feel really plump and happy. It’s pricy but usually available for £20 in outlets, knowing my luck it’s about to be discontinued

Another thumbs up for the Maybelline skin tint!

Spendy but Chanel No 1 foundation is lovely for sheer, buildable coverage on my late 40s skin.

My much cheaper go to is L'Oréal True Match nude serum which is really excellent for the price. Doesn't settle into lines.

This is the BEST! And I've had a lot of foundations and skin tints.

Laura Mercier is lovely and dewey whilst also giving great coverage.

No7 Hydraluminous. The best foundation hands down.

I second this!

SameSameButDeliverance · 29/01/2024 13:48

The new MAC one. I was genuinely shocked at how good it is for dewy but medium coverage.

I have a lot of foundations (summer / winter / light coverage / medium coverage and then day / night variations for all the above!) and it’s the first one in a very long time with which I was instantly impressed.

Another vote for the Maybelline skin tint. It's gorgeous. Had it for my wedding day.

Thirding.

I'd forgotten how bloody good this is and since finishing my Erborian BB ❤️❤️❤️ am finishing up the other stuff I've got.

Estée Lauder Hydra Futurist Rescue is good, but not as good coverage as either the Erborian or Hydraluminous.

I dug out my ITCC and that's too full coverage and makes me feel a bit masklike.

Hydraluminous is just perfect.

IheartNiles · 29/01/2024 19:02

By Terry was amazing. Although I prefer little coverage and wear Charlotte Tilbery for daily wear.

VivienneDelacroix · 29/01/2024 19:18

Glossier Perfecting Skin Tint. I was curious and a little sceptical because it's aimed at flawless-skinned 20 year olds, but it is perfect for dry, tired 40-something skin. I've been wearing it for about 18 months and love it.
