Me and DH have booked an island resort holiday for early August.
We haven’t done a holiday like this before. We have a holiday home in a rustic place in southern Europe or do city breaks to see friends- but when my parents offered to have DC for the week, AI luxury sounded very very appealing. 😂
Temps will be about 28-30, dropping off a bit at night. Smart casual dress code throughout all the a la carte restaurants, but it attracts a very ‘instagram’ crowd so I’ve seen a lot of floor length/evening dresses with full glam hair and make up. I’m more than happy to get on board with this!
My usual holiday wardrobe is lots of linen shirts, dresses and trousers, t-shirts, light blue denim shorts. Neutral, practical and smart. It’s what often gets suggested on ‘packing for holiday’ threads.
but…I would love some more glam/trendy things for this holiday. We also have a posh and childfree beach wedding earlier in the year so things would get reworn.
I would really love a mesh/chain see-through beach dress. I probably need a good pair of wedge heels and a summery evening bag?
Does anyone have any ideas of brands or places to look for sexy/dressy summer evening wear?
Any ideas on pieces?

I am a size 10 and 29 years old. Need to wear a bra unfortunately when I’m away from DC because leaky breastfeeding boobs, which limits some clothing choices.
