Can anyone recommend a brand for covering greys, currently using: Clairol Root Touch Up, but it's not great.

Having used every single brand of hair colour out there, I keep coming back to Loreal. It's on the more expensive side, but I've found it's the only one that gives full coverage and lasts longer than any of the others. I do mine every 3 -4 weeks with Loreal, and every 2 weeks with other brands. I dye my hair dark brown so as soon as the grey starts to peak through it's VERY noticeable!

Also, I've found that the root touch-ups are just rip-offs because you don't get enough product to actually cover your roots properly. I just use the ordinary hair colours.

Thanks, for your quick response! I agree re the root touch ups, very little product considering the cost.

I'll give Loreal a try - can you tell me which type of dye it is? - as they make so many...
