Static-y skirt

I have a skirt with a lace panel round the bottom. When I wear it though, the lace panel gets staticky and clings to my legs, which obv ruins the entire look of it. Is there anything I can do to stop the static?

Spray it with hairspray or if like me you can't stans the smell of hairspray rub some body lotion on it even if it's just a thin film on the lacy onside the skirt and a bit and on your legs

Thank you! I don’t mind the smell of hairspray so I’ll give that a good first!

There are static repelling sprays available too. Amazon/eBay.

My husband's golf trousers cling to his legs unless he uses an anti static spray, it's about £ 5 on Amazon and works really well.

I second the hair spray option.
