Help me find my wedding dress please!

Getting married this spring. Local registry office followed by a family meal. Very small handful of people attending 😊

I have absolutely no idea what kind of thing I want to wear 🙈😅

I’m plus sized (size 22) - really dislike my belly and top of arms. I am large chested so things with a very high neckline don’t really work, and It rather not be overly booby so nothing too low. Open to both full length and shorter styles. I don’t want a full on traditional wedding dress but would like to feel/look somewhat bridal 🤔 so I guess maybe ivory? Flexible budget for the right thing but I’m always open to bargains 😊

I have nobody to go for the wedding dress shopping experience with and would rather not go alone so I’m hoping you can all be my helpers and help me scour the met for the best options 😁😊

@Whatevershallidowithmylife I did take show it to a local seamstress to see if there was anything she could do or recommend and she said she didn’t think it would give the best finish because of how it’s lined

@PrudeyTwoShoes id need some size of boob shelves 😅 I know what you mean though. I really don’t think it would be possible with this one unfortunately!

@justrecognisedmyneighbouronhere @londonmummy1966 the clear plastic straps still give me the fear after the “one-shouldered tops” trend in my teens 😂
They would definitely be noticeable though unfortunately. Perhaps if the top was lace or busier it would be fine

I’m going to be in the same boat when we’ve saved enough to book ours (no one to help me find a dress).

If you are after actual bridal dress how about any of these? I think some of them might be ok as you can wear a standard bra.

@Prettypennies This is pretty and nice and simple but I’ve heard awful things about the quality and the returns unfortunately so have avoided ordering from them!

@Tbry24 When are you thinking of having yours? 😊 we’re just doing very small and simple so nothing really to save up for thankfully.
There are some pretty ones on there but I’m wanting something a bit more simple I think 😊

Have you considered looking at second hand dresses? I think that might be the only way to get the sort of style you're after with the additional support (I don't think you'd be able to wear a bra but a dress with more structure could easily be altered to include cups).

Otherwise I think you're either going to have to make some sacrifices to either style or comfort, I'm afraid.

EDIT: I've realised one dress is sleeveless but the other might work.
