Help me find my wedding dress please!

Getting married this spring. Local registry office followed by a family meal. Very small handful of people attending 😊

I have absolutely no idea what kind of thing I want to wear 🙈😅

I’m plus sized (size 22) - really dislike my belly and top of arms. I am large chested so things with a very high neckline don’t really work, and It rather not be overly booby so nothing too low. Open to both full length and shorter styles. I don’t want a full on traditional wedding dress but would like to feel/look somewhat bridal 🤔 so I guess maybe ivory? Flexible budget for the right thing but I’m always open to bargains 😊

I have nobody to go for the wedding dress shopping experience with and would rather not go alone so I’m hoping you can all be my helpers and help me scour the met for the best options 😁😊

I know that feeling too! I think trying things on is the only way to know though. When I was looking for my wedding dress I knew exactly the style I wanted but I tried several of that type and they all looked bloody hideous on! DMum picked out something I'd never have considered (and yep, was concerned about belly sticking out) but it was perfect.

How about something mid-calf length with a dropped waist and a V neck? I agree that lace might be lovely. If you are nervous about looking round would a department store with a personal shopping service be an idea? Or a wedding fair?

The asos dress is fabulous - it’s not an open back though - TikTok girl hadn’t zipped it up I think

Yes the ASOS dress is fully zipped at the back. It's lovely.

@PrudeyTwoShoes Thank you! The second one definitely isn’t my style. I do like the first and had looked at that one but the reviews said the colour was darker in person so I wasn’t sure. Could be worth an order to try on though 👍🏻😊

@Lemonbell i agree, it’s a really flattering style 😊 just not one that I usually go for so feels not very “me” 😅 I have bought a couple when looking for wedding guest dresses and always returned them and went for a different option.

OP please look at needle and thread. They have gorgeous dresses up to a size 22. They hang beautifully on a larger figure and most have sleeves. Don’t just look at the bridal collection- there are lots of options! My friend wore an ivory dress from there with beautiful colourful beading and it was just the most gorgeous wedding dress I’ve ever seen.

A bit too much going on on the one from Vinted for me I think! I think it’s the raw edges on the sleeves that I don’t think 🤔
