I’m sad after ‘D’ P told me to eff off and trying to lighten my mood; what lipstick are you loving in the new year or wearing today. Having a browse for a new one and always love these lipstick threads!

There’s a lot of Lisa E mentioned. Didn’t know of it but am aware of her as a makeup artist.

I don’t suit dark cool lipsticks or anything too brown unfortunately but LOVE peachy corals, peachy pinks and terracotta.

My favourites are Tropic Tonic and Please Me by Mac.
I’ve been wearing one by Beauty Pie recently, it’s a terracotta pink shade, really flattering. Also love one by Two Faced, it’s called, I’m Thriving. It’s such a lovely fresh nude shade and makes my lips look luscious!

Mac Ruby Woo. Mainly because my top is mauve and all the other lipsticks in my bag are coral ish. I don't often wear lipsticks wit a blue tint as I have warm colouring but this one seems fine. However I don't really like matte lipsticks as I think they are ageing.,

What is the nicest neutral type shade in Lisa Eldridge lipsticks. Thanks. Not tried this brand before.

Re Lisa Eldridge she had a few pinks that o would consider neutral. I wear Rose Official as a neutral. She is stocked at Selfridges and Liberty if you want to check out the range in real life.

Yeah snap with the Ruby Woo. I am wearing it again today. Luckily I found some Amphor lip balm stuff to put on top. It moistens the lips and makes the lipstick more even.

Despite being described as a blue red it is bright and cheery on me. I have warm light skin.

Clinique Bare Pop. It's my favourite and I wear it every day.

Lisa Eldridge Velvet Rain. This board raved about it ages ago and they weren't wrong. I blame whoever posted then for my LE addiction.

A Boots stick I found at the back of my drawer called True Delight.

It's a sort of crushed strawberry colour, quite Matt & light in texture which suits me. Better than anything new I could find. 😊
