Hi
I was just wondering if any of you can tell me where I'm going wrong with my gel
Application.
I do the base coat and cure for 15 seconds then colour , cure for 60 , second coat cure for 60 and then the top coat for 90 seconds but I'm finding my gels peel off so easy almost within 24 hours!
I work outside so I know that factors in but salon gels still
Last me a good two/ three weeks so I'm wondering if I'm over curing or under curing when doing them myself

I think it's usually moisture that causes lifting. I would cure base cost for much longer

Are you:
Pushing cuticles back
Cleaning nails to make sure no oily residue
Buffing to roughen surface a bit?

I cure each layer for 30 seconds (maybe 60 for the top), I don’t think 15 is long enough for the base.

I found mylee absolute rubbish and i'm meticulous with my prep, I also use dehydrator and primer, but mylee did nothing for me. I liked gellen, which you can't get anymore and modelones. Gels and polygels never work on my daughter though even from professionals, her nails are naturally shiny&full of natural moisture/oils.

Mylee works really well for me. I cure every layer for 60s and they last up to 2 weeks. I’m not very careful with my cuticles but I do buff my nails first and use the prep stuff.

Ah thank you all for replying
I haven't been buffing them before , I've pushed the cuticles back and I read online to cure base coat for 15 so I'll try again at 60.
I cap off the end etc but have awful short nails and work outside with animals so not the nicest hands I really hoped they would look better as I don't seem to make the time for the salon visits.
Thank you I appreciate the tips
