I've name changed for this as my photograph is pretty identifying. 😂😂
So, new year, new hair do and hairdressers (new me). After years of tinting / ballyage, I have decided to start going grey. New hairdresser suggested highlights to cool down colour and a more polished look (rather than my wavy / frizzy look of old). This is what I looked like about two days after. When they blow dry it in the salon, it has an almost heavy, swishy feel, that lasts for days: even when I steam it in the bath, or tie it up and then want to wear it loose.
Can someone kind and patient talk me through how can I recreate this at home?
I've just bought a Dyson Supersonic and have been using the flyaway attachment, which makes it look sleek, but within hours it's started to go frizzy. I've straightened it, which looks better, but not sure if this is a good idea long term?
At moment using Davines shampoo / conditioner for dry, coloured hair. Davines All in One Milk and their mouse.
I've had a look on YouTube, but found it all a bit overwhelming. 😆 Would love to hear what products you use and then how to create a sleek, long lasting blow dry with the Dyson. Thank you so much for reading and getting this far.
