Smart all black trainers for jogging

I’m looking for some black trainers (all black no white sole), that are smart enough to wear out and about, but are also ok for light jogging. Does anyone have any recommendations? I have quite a high arch and only jog on roads so need to be relatively supportive. Thanks!

Is there no way you can stretch to 2 pairs of trainers?
Those are 2 very different requirements, and you are unlikely to find one pair to do both jobs well.

I shall await MN proving me wrong!

On running cloudform? They're comfy but also smart

It’s for holiday! I don’t want to bring too many shoes, I thought black trainers for plane and any walking/jogging, then a pair of flip flops for the beach and sandals for every day. I’m not going to be walking jogging a marathon, so they don’t have to be state of the art. Saw a couple of Nike trainers that looked ok (I’ve got small feet so often buy boys trainers), just wanted something a bit smarter!

These are nice, but I don’t like the white sole.

Have seen some APL ones that also fit the bill

Has anyone tried Hylo trainers?

I've been running for years and have never heard of Hylo or APL but that might just be me. New Balance have their 880 style in all black. They are a good all rounder shoe.

I'm pretty sure you can get them with the black sole? At least you can in men's sizes as that's what I recently bought for my husband

I have these. They are extremely comfortable and waterproof and I often wear them for walking. Was surprised by price tag though, as I paid much less (60 or 70 quid I think) in decathlon a couple of months ago.
