Flat trendy shoes for work…

I work in a really trendy industry (but my job is on the more boring regulatory side of things) and I really struggle with what shoes to wear to the office. The office is full of very trendy (often young) people who look great. I generally dress quite plainly (albeit love a pop of colour) with wide legged trousers and a fine knit/jersey top being fairly usual but I have no idea what to do for shoes. I don’t wear heels (ever) so I was wondering if something like dark converse or similar would work? I am mid 40s and size 16. Any suggestions?

I moved jobs a few months ago to a place full of young trendy creatives and also now have a bit of a quick march from train to tube. Not worn heels since lockdown and no interest in re acclimatising so I wear trainers or chunky flatform boots with wide leg trousers, blouse and knitted vest top/sweater or similar. Since COVID I think most workplaces have gone very casual, nobody here in heels
