Rituals body cream/lotion

I love Rituals Jing scent ( previously called Dao ) but wish they would put their body cream in a flip top lidded tube as it's so much easier to use / transport around than a big tub. Likewise L'occitane's Almond body cream - it comes in a big glass jar !

Why do manufacturers not see the practicality of a tube ?
And when they do why don't they specifically use a flip top lidded one particularly for hand cream. So much more user friendly.

Rituals do a tubed body cream in their sets ( which means it can be done ) but I don't need a whole Jing set.

I think because they're going for lux/gifting end rather than everyday use. I agree though as I use their body cream and find it impractical in a tub. I have decanted the body cream into plastic travel bottles for hols but it's quite a thick product and doesn't squeeze out easily!!

I don't think thick creams are good in tubes, you can never get it out without cutting the tube open. Plus I rely on the body cream refills to make them affordable - you can't refill a tube (AFAIK). And ! like tubs as you can use up every last bit!
