Brora - is this normal?

I ordered a top from Brora last Tuesday. They've acknowledged the order and taken the money. Since then radio silence. Nothing to say it's dispatched, nothing regarding delivery. Zero updates of any kind. This is the first time I've ordered so no idea if this is normal or not. If it is their normal operating procedure my first order will be my last order. Can anyone who uses Brora advise? Thanks.

Their website states aim to deliver in 3-5 working days or may be longer in busy periods. And, they will send an email when dispatched. So, you will probably get an email un the next couple of days.

I’ve had this once with them during a sale - it arrived eventually, very quickly after the dispatch notification email. I will say also once they didn’t take the money until the day of dispatch which was three or four days after I ordered it late one night.

Normal during the sale period. I placed on order on the Sunday before yesterday and got the dispatch notice on Saturday. Speedier when no sale on.

Thanks everyone. I wanted the top for an outing on this Friday. Looks like I might have to go shopping again.

Just received the shipping email. Keep your fingers crossed it arrives by Friday 🤞
