Kerastase vs Moroccanoil

Hi, does anyone have experience with either of those products as I’ve been looking at them both and don’t know which would be best.
I normally use bedhead shampoo and conditioner but I feel my hair is awfully weak and brittle and I’d like to try a new product to see if it helps.
I don’t know if my hair being weak is a side effects of my various illnesses and I’m often low in magnesium and potassium although I do get an infusion of those every week but when I wash or brush my hair it seems so much of my hair is breaking off so any recommendations I will be grateful for.

I have used both of them in the past and they are lovely quality products but I now use Olaplex and Pureology Colour Fanatic leave in conditioner and feel that my hair is in the best condition it has been in many years but I honestly think letting my hair dry naturally, using my Big Hair sparingly for the final dry and washing my hair less often has made the the biggest differences to it's condition. My hairdresser actually told me off for washing it too regularly!

Kerastase Resistance is fabulous for weak hair!!!

Kerastase is a quality product. Moroccanoil is a drug store level product.

Kerastase I find Moroccan oil a bit heavy.

Thanks, I have looked at the Kerastase resistance and would I be better going for the level 1-2 or the 3-4 product?
I only wash my hair maximum twice a week as I’m lucky not to suffer from greasy hair and I tend to let it air dry as I mainly have it in a ponytail or clip most days.

Go for whichever is most appropriate for your hair type.

And be careful if you're tying/pulling your hair back as that can cause breakage if your hair is weaker. I only use silk ties (when I absolutely need to put my hair in a ponytail for the gym) to minimise any damage.

SILKE Hair Ties

Super strong and stretchy, these 100% silk hair ties prevent kinks, tugging and damage. All the hold, with none of the damage. This is not your average hair tie.

There is a hairdresser on tiktok and instagram called thisgirldoeshair who speaks about the hair oils from both of these brands and doesn’t recommend them due to a silicone product in them (can’t remember the name) that isn’t water soluble. She goes into loads of detail but essentially Loreal Mythic Oil has better ingredients apparently. I myself use morrocan oil but will save my money and buy the loreal one when it runs out. Have a look at her videos she has lots of recommendations and goes into detail about them.
