BB Cream for pale skin

I am fairly pale skinned and struggle to find BB cream for my skin tone. Yesterday I bought some Garnier BB cream in light, and I look like I have been tangoed.

Why are so many BB creams so dark these days? I want to look natural, not like I have spent 6 weeks in the Bahamas.

Has anyone any recommendations please?

As a cheap option. I’m really pale and Aldi do a bb cream in light which really suits my complexion.

Reporting back - I found the holy grail!

Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser 1CO. It is a perfect colour match and so light in texture. It has SPF30 as well.

It wasn't cheap, but so worth it.

Thanks OP and good for you. 😊 What is the coverage like on the tinted moisturiser? I’ll have to check it out.

Can I ask if you’ve ever tried the LM translucent powder? It gets great reviews, but I’ve seen some saying it went on a bit orange. I’m a fellow pale person and also find that so many supposedly translucent or very light or colour adjusting products make me look yellow or orange. Having said that, I do think that there are more options than there used to be.

@saturnspinkhoop it is very light. I dislike foundation on my skin as it feels too heavy. I don't wear face powder either. I won't see 60 again and at my age heavy foundation and powder are very ageing, so I wear tinted moisturiser instead.

This has honestly felt like the best purchase I have made for tinted moisturiser. I also have the Boots City Light tinted moisturiser in Light which is the same shade (I did a test with both) but it provides a slightly heavier coverage and contains a lower SPF (15).

I went to a department store to get colour matched BTW.
