How would you style this for a dinner date?

I have a last minute date tomorrow and I have nothing to wear! It’s a second date and we plan to go to a nicer (for here!) restaurant for food.

I have scoured the shops and the only thing I like is this New Look skirt. I was thinking with a black high neck long sleeve bodysuit, tights and chunky boots 😬 I’m not convinced but I live in the highlands so next day delivery doesn’t exist and there limited shops..

Nice skirt. I would agree re tights and chunky boots - it’s going to be cold this weekend, lol. Black long sleeved top sounds good. I would also consider a thin-knit black, or maybe something like silver, cardigan to jazz it up a bit. Dangly earrings and red lippie and you’re good to go!

For a more dressed up looked I'd probably go slightly lighter tights and heeled boots. Doesn't have to be high heel just a little lift. Chunky gold necklace and earrings if you're wearing all black.
