Overwhelmed by Mascara Options

I have used Maybelline Sky High for a while but the last one purchased in Savers was flakey crap. So, I went the other way and bought Lancome Hypnose. Lovely to use for a few weeks but now drying up and running out like any other. Can’t really say it is worth that extra money.

I went to Boots and Superdrug and walked out without anything as I could not pick. They are so expensive, that I didn’t want to waste 10 - 13 pounds on something mediocre. All brushes are plastic, I quite like the bristles of Hypnose. Now what, how do I choose one?

Funnily enough I've just switched from Maybelline too, something is definitely different.I'm using Max Factor 2000 calorie at the moment, really like it.

And it's a lovely old school bristle brush.

I swear by L'Oreal. I use Telescopic and like the thinner brush, but have had Voluminous in the past, and it comes with the more bristly brush.

Ok so I got one in the liberty calendar and I will repurchase it's great! Gets all my shorter lashes, you can build it up and it does not budge at all!

I like no 7 mascaras, and maybelline always work well on me

This is helpful about brushes (It's about maybelline ones as an example)

Also if you buy a mascara and don't like it, sometimes it's worth trying after a couple of weeks when it has dried just a little bit. Some of my fave mascaras I don't like when fresh, some I don't like when they're not fresh!

Maybelline sky high has been my go to, I hope the formula hasn’t changed.

Lancôme hypnose shouldn't do that. I get six months out of mine. Take it back as you've got a duff one.

When mine gets near the end I add a couple of drops of baby oil to revive it and I can get a couple more weeks out of it.

Eyeko lash alert is brilliant, it's a tubing mascara which IMHO is way better than the other sort. Also it's 50% off at the moment on their website. Bobbi Brown is also good but very expensive

I try differwnt mascaras but always go back to Benefit

Lancôme if you can afford it, Max Factor if you can't.
