Work backpack

Starting a new job and want to treat myself to a new bag.

I'm thinking a backpack over a satchel as I'll be commuting on public transport then a short walk.

Something stylish but with plenty room for for a small laptop along with a lunchbox and the usual purse, makeup bag etc

Budget up to £100 but ideally £50 - £75

Any suggestions?

What style are you wanting?

Roka - They're very popular.
Mia Tui - also popular.
Donut Back packs - some nice ones
Peak Design - bit more on the spendy scale.

Or sporty types:
The North Face Borealis
Decathlon NH150 Square 16L < This is my daily bag and I love it so much I have a black one and a camo type one.

If you want leather or classics like those, your budget may not be quite enough to get a nice nice one.

I have a Rains backpack and love it, still looks new 2 years on and holds out against the rain well.

I have both Rains and Roka (Finchley) backpacks - both are excellent but obviously very different in terms of style!

If you're interested in a ROKA backpack, check out Vinted. ROKA had a 'lucky dip' sale recently, and people have been buying them cheap from the website and reselling in Vinted. By checking out Vinted you don't have to take the risk of a 'luck dip' but can still get a brand new bag for less than they usually are

Thank you @KissTheRains

I think I prefer leather style over sporty style. I really like this but it's not big enough

Definitely narrowed it down to a leather style though

A lot of the backpacks I really liked didn’t quite accommodate my laptop, they’re bigger than you think!

If you're not fussy about brand names, I'd highly recommend a Kroser. I've had mine since 2020, carries my laptop and is often stuffed with books, too (teacher). It has survived torrential rain and kept my belongings dry. It still looks brand new - no visible wear and tear. https://www.amazon.co.uk/stores/KROSER/LAPTOPBACKPACK/page/E8A61F4C-6365-4209-95CE-B289FBD5A6BE
